Apresentação de Rosto, Herberto Hélder

First published in 1968, Apresentação do Rosto was censored by the political police, who destroyed nearly 1500 copies. In the banning order, the work is described as "the author's autobiography, which is leftist in nature, written in surreal and hermetic language, which as a literary work would not deserve any criticism if it did not present passages of great obscenity." In 2020, with corrections by Helberto Helder himself, the book was reedited and published.
