117 years of love for book sustainability

We reach the 117th anniversary and bring you a day full of amazing news!

We start with an initiative that results from a partnership between Livraria Lello and WWF - World Wide Fund for Nature - , an activist action that features the artistic installation “Fish Motel”.

We continue with the rescue of the Lello Editores collection and the launch of new books; - the announcement of the attribution of the sustainability seal, only held by a very limited group of international brands; - the inauguration of an exhibition related to Bob Dylan's love letters to his teenage girlfriend, and finally, outside, congratulations to the Most Beautiful Bookstore in the World.

Since 1906, we've been building a sustainable future around a love of the book and everyone who reads. It is this love for the sustainability of the book – and of bookstores, companies, cities and regions – that we celebrate on January 13th, at 10:30 am, in a private event, attended by important national and international institutional guests.

The doors of Livraria Lello open to the public from 12:30 pm, admission is free and there are offers for the first 117 visitors and readers.
