AUTHOR OF THE MONTH- DAVID MACHADO
Livraria Lello is pleased to present as author of the month for February, the writer of children's stories David Machado, who will be accompanied by the illustrator of his most recent children's book Esta História, João Fazenda. The session with the author takes place on February 24th, at 9 pm, at Livraria Mais Bonita do Mundo.
David Machado was born in Lisbon, in 1978. He studied Economics at the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão in Lisbon. After some time working at the National Statistics Institute, he dedicated himself to writing full time. He writes novels, children's literature and is also a translator of the books O Herói das Mulheres, by Adolfo Bioy Casares, and Obrigada pelo Lume, by Mario Benedetti.
