In the heart of Porto, a debate is opening up around a phenomenon that threatens the economy, social justice and the quality of our democracy: corruption. Author Tiago Rosa Gaspar presents Decifrar a Corrupção (Deciphering Corruption), published by Dom Quixote.
At this presentation, civil society will have the opportunity to call on politicians to debate the issue. The meeting, which takes place just a few weeks before the local elections, will provide an informed and accessible reflection on the mechanisms for combating corruption and the importance of a culture of integrity in Portugal. The author will be accompanied by Manuel Pizarro and Filipe Araújo, in a conversation moderated by RTP journalist Hugo Gilberto.
30 August, at 9 p.m., at Livraria Lello.
