DINA FERREIRA AND VALDEMAR CRUZ IN THE CARMELITAS POSTSCRIPT
Bookseller and author Dina Ferreira and journalist and writer Valdemar Cruz are the next guests at Posfácio das Carmelitas - Rentrée, organised by Livraria Lello. The authors join Maria Bochicchio for another literary conversation on Passeio das Carmelitas, this Saturday at 17.00.
Dina Ferreira, founder of Livraria Poetria, appears at Livraria Mais Bonita do Mundo for a talk about her book A mais bela profissão do mundo. The book is a collection of texts written by the author over the years about her experience as a bookseller.
The author will also be joined by writer Valdemar Cruz, another literature enthusiast, for a chat about some of his works, such as A filha Rebelde, a story of a woman who abandons her husband, family, friends and country to join the Cuban revolution, or Retrato de Siza, an art book that brings together original images and texts by the award-winning architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.
In the month of the rentrée, Livraria Lello promises to continue bringing books, authors, and readers to Rua das Carmelitas. The next events are scheduled for 30 September and 7 October.

Under the title "A bench and a book in Porto", Posfácio das Carmelitas - Rentrée is based on a performative conversation with a guest author, who will be accompanied by musicians and a collective of declaimers.
The choice of a pedestrianized street in Porto as the venue for the event brings the city closer to literature and a heterogeneous group of authors, as well as meeting readers, aspiring writers, visitors to cultural events and even passers-by.
