Livraria Lello suggests...
Boundless now has a new format. This time, our reading suggestions for this month come from our Purchasing Technician, Inês Teixeira. We can say that Fantastic Literature is definitely her favorite literary genre! But that's not all, Romantasy (fiction + romance) is also part of her bookshelf. Among the ten books (physical and audiobooks) she reads each month, here are Inês' suggestions:
Court of Mist and Fury, Sarah J. Maas
After rescuing her beloved Tamlin from the evil Queen Amarantha, Feyre returns to the Spring Court with the powers of a Fairy Supreme. But she can't forget the crimes she had to commit to save Tamlin's people... nor the wicked pact she made with Rhysand, the Great Lord of the dreaded Night Court. As Feyre is drawn into Rhysand's dark web of politics and passion, an imminent war looms and an evil far more dangerous than any queen threatens to destroy everything Feyre has ever tried to protect. She must then face her past, accept her new gifts and decide her future.
The Serpent and the Night Wings, Carissa Broadbent
The adopted human daughter of the Nightcreature King, Oraya has earned her place in a world destined to kill her. Her only chance to become something more than prey is to enter the Kejari: a tournament with the chance to change everything. But it won't be easy to beat the most ruthless warriors from the three vampire houses. To survive, Oraya is forced to make an alliance with a mysterious rival.
Everything about Raihn is dangerous. He's a ruthless vampire, a ferocious killer, an enemy of his father's crown... and her greatest adversary. However, what frightens her most is the attraction she feels for him, which could mean her downfall in a kingdom where nothing is deadlier than love.
