March is the month of the woman. The importance of International Women's Day continues beyond March 8th and, for this reason, Livraria Lello proposes to reflect on the role of women in Literature throughout the month. 

Aware of the importance of reading women, learning from women and, above all, contributing to the empowerment of women, our booksellers suggest, for the month of March, works by two Nobel Prize-winning writers in Literature: Selma Lagerlöf, the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in this category, and Olga Tokarczuk, awarded in 2018.
