The construction of a Knowledge Society does not happen by decree. It is an open, participatory, and continuous process in which everyone has a role to play. Knowledge is born from a conceptual foundation, but it only gains true value when it is applied and transformed into real impact on the economy and society.
In this Conversation for the Future, scientist and researcher Maria Manuel Mota, president of the Global Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM), shares her vision of the transformative power of knowledge and its role in building a more informed and sustainable future.
The session will be moderated by economist Jaime Quesado, promoter of the Sharing Knowledge initiative.
The event will take place on October 16 at 9 p.m. at Livraria Lello.
