The briefcase that belonged to John Salmon, commander of a British army special division, is a historical testimony for all those who appreciate, or are curious about, this very important era that would mark humanity’s destiny. John Salmon was responsible for special missions such as rescuing British soldiers and kidnapping German soldiers for currency during World War II. The canvas briefcase is completely original, following a model widely used at the time. Having certainly accompanied John Salmon on his missions, its interior holds photographs, printed documents and leaflets and a typed letter. It also includes some writing instruments, such as pencils and rulers, as used by the soldier.
