This is copy number 51 of the first edition of Samuel Beckett's Mercier et Camier, which is limited to 92 numbered copies. The book, presented here in its original paperback binding, was written in just three months during 1946. However, the author refused to publish it until 1970; exactly one year after being awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.
