Five volumes, bound in leather, of a work of cultural importance to the study of the evolution of medicine, which correspondingly covers topics such as general surgery, tissue surgery, physical, vital, and degenerative injuries. A renowned 19th century surgeon, Vidal de Cassis made an important practical and theoretical contribution to scientific debate, publishing works of great reference. Traité de Pathologie Externe et de Médicine Opératoire is one of them.
